Health care is innovative, exciting, and evolving. At Community Health Plan of Washington, our Information Services and Technology Department is using technology to help people live healthier lives.
We're at the intersection of technology and health care. We have the opportunity to use technology to provide quality health care to the people who need it most. Our diverse team of IT professionals are creative, results-driven team players who live our mission.
Our Innovative Programs
We help supply our medical community with critical information through our:
- Clinical Integration Solution BI & Analytics platform (CIS)
- Emergency Dispatch Information Exchange (EDIE)
- ImmsLink Program
- Proprietary Business Intelligence (BI) Portal
The CIS is an advanced business intelligence and analytics system that aggregates claims, clinical, and other data to provide clinicians a broader view of a patient’s historical medical care, chronic conditions, and risk information. EDIE provides our network real-time emergency room information for their patients. ImmsLink is a software product that enables a bi-directional immunization information data feed between Electronic Health Records and the Washington State Child Immunization Repository.
The BI Portal is a web-based analysis tool that provides business value snapshots of our claims data including comparison data by cost and utilization, current and historic enrollment, high-level reporting based on authorization data, pool settlement reports, and outreach reports for both clinics and affiliates. These innovations in technology serve to better manage patient medical treatment and reduce total medical expense.
Other Technology Platforms We Use
